John worships with the Lake Orion Church of Christ in Lake Orion, Michigan where he is one of the Elders. He serves and cares for his community of believers as they follow Christ. He has worked in the field of fluid handling for 40 years and the VP of Sales for his company. John develops marketing strategies for pump manufactures to ensure sales and financial growth.

John believes that the work of caring for the aged is God's work. He has called John to do his part for those who cannot care for themselves. He has been blessed with the opportunity to serve these beautiful people at the Care Community by providing wisdom and good judgment to help ensure they have a place they can call home. A place filled with the patience, compassion, love and excellent health care. It is a place filled with moms and dads. People who are no different than his mom and dad before they passed on. People who need help in making sense of the changes in their life as they reach their twilight years. God calls all of us to honor our fathers and mothers in Deuteronomy chapter 5. Working with the Care Community is an extension of John's responsibility to honor his parents and beyond to those who may not be honored by their own family. It matters to John that Care Community residents are reminded by staff that God loves them and is with them. God will give them peace now and hope for the future. The Care Community is a partner with the many services the aged can receive in the northeastern suburbs of Detroit. It's a place where Christian principles are lived and shared with every resident. A place that is safe for its residents and employees. Church of Christ Care Community is a good employer and responsible member in our community.
