We have a satellite meal program, available 7 days a week, that delivers lunch from the nursing home. The meal is delivered to resident’s apartments for $1.50 per meal. We also have a delivered meal to our community center on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $2.00 per person.
Are there other donations the apartment community would enjoy?
Absolutely. The resident council maintains a fund for activities, which is largely supported by their fall bake sale. To donate baked goods for the sale, please contact Jeannette Schiele, our volunteer coordinator, at 586-285-7144. Cash donations are appreciated and should be given to Jeannette. Contributions can be made to the residents’ general fund or designated to sponsor specific things such as holiday parties.
Do you accept donations of durable medical equipment or furniture?
We appreciate the generous people who donate when a particular need arises. Unfortunately, we have limited storage space for items that are not currently needed. If you have items that you wish to donate, please contact our services coordinator, at 586-285-7144 to see if we are able to put them to use.
May guests stay at my apartment?
Overnight or short-term visitors are welcome. In keeping with our management rules, a guest/gamily member may not exceed a 21 day/night stay per year.
Residents may change paint, carpet or lighting fixtures if they desire. We ask that they choose neutral decorating themes or return the apartment to a neutral theme upon move-out. Please consult our manager if you wish to redecorate.
Is parking available near my apartment?
Each apartment has parking spaces nearby: Since parking is not assigned we ask that residents and guests be considerate of others when parking.
