Care Levels

Standard Care Includes:

1. Three meals a day plus snacks
2. Weekly light housekeeping and linen service
3. Daily trash removal
4. Personal laundry done by staff
5. Assistance with medications
6. 24-hour security monitoring
7. Social, recreational and spiritual activities
8. Counseling available
9. Periodic review of resident’s service plan
10. Monitoring of weight and blood pressure
11. Monitoring of medical appointments

Enhanced Care Includes Standard Care Plus:

1. Twice weekly linen service
2. Reminders for activities of daily living such as dressing, eating and personal
   hygiene
3. Special diets
4. Encouragement to eat, if needed
5. Education and monitoring of diabetic residents
6. Monitoring of wandering

Specialized Care Includes Enhanced Care Plus:

1. More frequent housekeeping and linen service as needed
2. Maximum assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, eating and
   personal hygiene
3. Incontinence care

Memory Care Includes Specialized Care Plus:

1. Individualized service plan
2. Behavioral management
3. Snoezelen therapy (aroma, music, relaxation)
4. Specialized homelike activities

   Assessment and Fees:

   To ensure that each resident has exactly the right amount of care we do a functional
   assessment before admission and at regular intervals afterward.
   There is an admission charge for the initial assessment and preparation of the appartment.
   This fee is due on admission and is non-refundable.
   Monthly rates for private or companion apartments are determined by the level of care and
   calculated on a per diem basis. See enclosure or call our office for current rate
   information.
   Residents are responsible for clothing, personal care items and toiletries, household
   items such as paper products, and monthly phone and cable charges.
